Trauma Therapy in St. Louis
Accepting New In-Person & Virtual Clients in Chesterfield & Washington, MO
I help adults who’ve experienced trauma in their pasts and now find themselves feeling anxious, on edge, or disconnected in their relationships.
What You May Notice
At times, things feel manageable, and at other times, it feels like none of the puzzle pieces are fitting together. Maybe your reactions feel stronger or more confusing than you expect. Or, maybe you just can’t seem to calm the anxiety. You may not always have words for what’s happening, but you notice patterns and sense that something feels “off.”
If this is you, you likely find yourself:
Overthinking interactions
Feeling constantly “on edge,” like your mind won’t fully slow down
Experiencing emotions that escalate quickly and feel hard to regulate
Shutting down, going quiet, or avoiding conversations when things feel tense
Getting stuck in the same relationship cycles, like people-pleasing or pulling away
Wanting closeness, but struggling to trust, open up, or say what you need
